Living life to the fullest is so cliche, but it needs to be done. Our time on earth is not eternal, so why do we live like it? Why do we live like we have all this time, all this time to sulk, be angry, complain, cheat, steal, and lie..and then make up on the back end and fill our lives with sunshine & flowers? because we don't! So when life gives me lemons, you better believe i'm taking those lemons and running like the wind to make the best lemonade you've ever tasted.

Black History by ~Lawdi

“This being Black History Month, I would like to ask people to celebrate the similarities and not focus on the differences between people of colour and not of colour.”  ~Lynn Swann
“We should emphasize not Negro History, but the Negro in history. What we need is not a history of selected races or nations, but the history of the world void of national bias, race hate, and religious prejudice.” - Carter Woodson

Well, the Rugrats taught me all I know about Hanukkah. I’m glad they’re also teaching kids about Kwanzaa*. Habari Gani!*Even though it looks like Phil is wearing a Native American headdress and Susie’s grandma is wearing a Mexican housedress.
